Never ever give up. The comeback-power in humanity is off the charts. History has repeatedly shown us what people are able to accomplish after hitting rock bottom. Poor people have turned themselves into millionaires. Disabled people are running marathons. Elderly people are completing their educations. Formerly toxic people have completely healed. Discriminated people have faced the eye of the storm and bravely stood side by side with their discriminators, even befriending some of them. Every single day, an underdog is turning into a winner. So many out there have exceeded their own dreams, always have and always will.
The darkest of pits cannot get darker, only lighter. The only thing stopping us is our fear-based ego. The ego is a defense mechanism that makes life easier to navigate. It uses current surroundings and past experiences to create behavioral patterns However, this can unfortunately lead to so much fear that we don’t open for change and new blessings.
The mental restrictions we place on ourselves hinder our growth. Silence those negative voices in your head telling you that you’ll fail. “Trying” is never worse than “not trying”. A small step in the right direction is always better than no steps at all.
What do you have to lose expect your restricting pride? If you fail, well… at least you tried. That’s the worst that can happen. You are already at rock bottom, so there’s really nothing to fear, right? Aiming for something from ground zero gives us the motivation to make a change. Our greatest threat is our fear. Our greatest asset is our positive faith in ourselves. Utilize the latter as much as you can. Because you really don’t know how strong you are when you decide to level up your game. Replace “cannot” with “can” and witness the magic of real life happen 👊💪🔥🙏
